Current Studies at Motherisk: Lamisil in Pregnancy
Motherisk is currently conducting a study to determine the safety of Lamisil (terbinafine) use in pregnancy. This is prescribed for the treatment of fungal infections of the toenail, fingernail and various skin infections. The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the risk for major malformations and other adverse fetal effects following exposure to this medication.
If you are currently pregnant and exposed to Lamisil at any point during the pregnancy, please contact Moumita Sarkar at 1-800-670-6126 or by e-mail. Your participation will involve a follow-up by telephone interview at 6 months after delivery. All calls are strictly confidential.
