Paolo Mazzotta, M.Sc.Psychopharmacology Research Program Sunnybrook Health Science Centre, Toronto
Paolo Mazzotta completed his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Toxicology and Pharmacology from the University of Toronto. His graduate work focused on issues pertaining to nausea and vomiting of pregnancy (NVP), which included documenting the potential association between NVP and elective termination of pregnancy, the effect of counseling on teratogenic risk perception of antiemetics in women with NVP and, more recently, the development of a health-related quality of life questionnaire for women with NVP. Paolo's work has been presented at a number of international meetings in addition to publishing several articles on the topic of NVP and the effects of pharmacological agents on human pregnancy.
