Question:
Is there a link between Hyperemesis Gravedarum and gallbladder problems? I had sever HG during my previous pregnancy, followed by having my gallbladder out after delivering my Daughter. IS there a link between the two or should I be prepared to experience HG again?
Answer:
We do not know of any definite link, however there have been cases of gall bladder problems and hyperemesis in pregnancy. Removal of the gall bladder would not automatically remove the risk of hyperemesis in a subsequent pregnancy.
