Question:
i am in my 7th week.our first child.i face a problem with heart burns.it is unbarable.i did take maalox, but with that i have a upset stomach.i have been talking doctors medicine for nausea and vomiting.which does not help me in heart burns.but most important i cannot eat well, sleep well keep getting the pain in my stomach.2-3 times i have consumed lot of water in order to take out the acid.but does not help.i also feel better if i dont take my vitamins.doctor has replaced my materna with folic acid but still does not work.what medication can i take to stop heart burns and reduce the pain so that i can get back to work.
Answer:
If the treatment for NVP did not work and you feel that the heartburn and stomach pain are the main problem, please talk to your doctor who might prescribe an antacid medication and also rule out the possibility that you could be H. Pylori positive.
Please call our Helpline 1800 436 8477 for more information on ways to deal with the symptoms and also vitamin use.
