Question:
I took Dicletin 8 months while I was pregnant with my second one, and my baby is extremely sleepy and calm even at 5 month. I wonder if this might come from the medicine she was exposed to in the womb.
Answer:
This is not likely, especially so long after delivery, when the drug has long gone from the baby's system.
As well, we conducted a longterm study on babies whose mother's had taken Diclectin in pregnancy and there
were no reports such as this or any other adverse effects in these babies.
