Question:
What exactly are the risks to the fetus and the side effects with taking Diclectin???

Answer:
There are no documented risks to the fetus if the mother takes Diclectin during pregnancy. This is from research from follow ups of thousands of children whose mothers were exposed during pregnancy. Side effects to the mother are primarily drowsiness from the antihistamine part of the drug.
