Question:
I am now 12 weeks pregnant. I stopped taking my pre-natal vitamin at 9 weeks, and the nausea has been better. I am on the strongest dose of Diclectin my doctor will allow. Is it just a coincidence or could it be the iron in the prenatal vitamin making me sick? I will resume taking it again...in a month's time.
Answer:
Talk to your doctor. It is entirely possible that the iron in the prenatal vitamin is making you sick. If you start taking it again and it makes you sick again, your doctor will probably conclude that it is the iron.
