Question:
I am currently in my 13th week of pregnancy and I have been on Diclectin since week number 7. I have been hesitant to take my prenatal viatmins due to the caution that they are not to be taken within 4 hours of any other medication... due to the fact I am taking up to 4 Diclectin a day is there any suggestions on a good time to be taking the prenatal vitamin... Diclectin is not stopping my vomiting competely and I worry that I am not getting enough nutrients to the baby - thanks
Answer:
It is perfectly OK to take your prenatal
vitamins at any time, even if you are taking Diclectin
as well, you should take it when you can tolerate it.
If the vitamins make you vomit, do not take them again until
you are feeling better.
