Question:
Besides Diclectin, are there any other treatments or recommendations to help the effects of NVP?
I have tried Diclectin (medication) and it did not help in the least. I'm looking for any other remedy to help these symptoms of NVP........I've tried the cracker in bed before getting up in the morning, etc. It is not just morning sickness, i am sick, nausious, and throw up from morning until night..... my doctor even suggested me contacting your website for advice.......any relevant information would be greatly appreciated.
Answer:
Please call the Motherisk NVP Helpline at 1-800-436-8477 for information about treatment. Sometimes, Diclectin is not taken in the appropriate dose or at the right time. This medication is also delayed release and may not be kept in the system if there is a lot of vomiting. We can fax a treatment algorithm TO YOUR DOCTOR with steps that can be taken when standard treatment does not work.
